European Senior Team Championship 2021 knows its winners.

The European Senior Team Championship 2021 ended today at the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague.
The national team of the Czech Republic won in the category over 50 years. The home team drew in the key match of the tournament with Slovakia, which takes home silver medals. After a very good performance, the bronze belongs to another Czech team 1960-69. The second gold medal for home colors was achieved by the Czech Republic Women team in the women's category.
The best player was FM Daniel Sorm with elo performance 2624, who also won a special prize for the best game in this category (GM Martin Mrva - FM Daniel Sorm, 0-1, 6th round)!
The best player in the category was WGM Eliska Richtrova with elo performance 2234.
The category over 65 years was dominated by team Israel 1 ahead of the favored German team Lasker Schachstiftung GK. Bronze travels to France thanks to the victory over the Hungarians. The Czech team „Lysa nad Labem-100 let“ finished 4th. In the women's category, the Germany 1 Women team won by one point before the Czech national team.
The best player was GM Yehuda Gruenfeld from Israel, with elo performance 2540. The best player in this category was WFM Mira Kierzek (GER) with elo performance 2011.
The German GM Rainer Knaak (R. Knaak - I. Farago, 1-0, 6th round) won a special prize for the best game in the 65+ category.
The whole championship took place in a friendly atmosphere and thus followed on the World Senior team Championship from last year in Prague.
